I loved it canned as a kid, steamed when I was older and out on my own eating healthier, and now raw. I love, love, LOVE it!

Carrots are difficult for me to eat most times, unless they are mixed with something else and the flavor doesn't overpower the dish. I used to love them before I was pregnant, but after I was pregnant, the odor of carrots causes a burning sensation in my nose and I just can't eat them anymore on their own.

I think I would love raw okra. I had no idea it was a fruit, but now that you said it...it makes sense! I'll try some raw the next time I see it at the food co-op.

I love raw beets, too.

Well, right now I can't think of anything I don't like. :-P I guess maybe I'm a tiny bit hungry. How long have I been going through your blog to catch up? It's been a LONG time, I think! I find them intensely digusting too.

Anonymous, if you enjoy kale and it doesn't give you digestive issues, keep enjoying it! I just happen to not like it at all. As far as kids - I'm not expert but I tend not to give my kids certain food until they can chew and digest it themselves. But that's just me, different things work for different people. :)

newsupey, you don't know what okra is? Well are you in for a nice little treat. We hope. :) Let me know if you try it!

Azura, I think it's brilliant that you never liked onion or garlic. I was very hooked on both of those and it was a tough addiction for me to break!

Exotic, I looooove raw sweet corn but I wish I could just grow it in my garden and eat it truly fresh. I plan to, some day. Did you like corn cooked? Corn (cooked or raw) was practically a food group all by itself of mine for a long time! In college I'd eat cans of corn for meals. LOL

Rosie, I have a love-hate relationship with mushrooms. I loved them cooked, didn't mind them raw, but more and more get grossed out by them if I ever eat them.

Chris...LOL... :) You ever considered starting a blog? You could amuse us with your little veggie dialogs all day long. :)

Margi, I'm realizing more and more than I'm not super big on veg either. I really do love my non sweet fruits.

Kathleen - I did use to like fried okra but have to admit I never tried pickled. That's probably a good thing, huh? One less thing to miss. :)

Sarah, I have tried several raw veggies over the last year that made me sick too. Asparagus, even though I loved it, made me nauseous for hours.

Swayze, I'm a tomato pig too. Esp grape tomatoes. I can sit there and eat 4 lbs of them in a sitting. :'(

Yep, I agree 100%.
