Psst Need Some Inspiration?

Photo Credit - One Good Bumblebee
Hi guys!

I'm happy to report that my laundry pile (and my piled up email) is slowly but surely on its way back to health this week! I still have some other stuff to catch up on, but hope to get back to the blogging world shortly. Thank you for sticking with me (if indeed, you are!) :-) I miss you all and hope to catch up soon!

I wanted to tell you about a great opportunity! My good friend Bethany told me today that she's selling a bunch of her hygienic health materials (books, CDs, etc) at 50% off. This is not because she doesn't think they're worthy of her love anymore (she still applies these principles in her life and considers these to be very valuable resources), but because she needs the money.

Let me just say that the list she sends me made my brain drool and I already have my eyes on a couple of the items. :D

If anyone is interested, email her at bethanymeira at pathofhealth dot org and she will send you the list!

So how is everyone doing anyway? Drop me a note and tell me what you're up to!

Hi Sarah,

Still here and I kind of miss all the rain we had in Arlington.

That is quite a collection of books she's selling. I was going to do the same thing before I moved, but ended up to strapped for time to do the Amazon marketplace or ebay thing. I took everything to a used bookstore, and one box of books came out to $11 cash, $9 of which I ended up spending in the store.

Hi!

Hey There Girl,

Thanks for the heads up! I need to deepen my NH study, for sure.

YOU are my inspiration. :D

I hope for whatever reason she needs money, that this fulfills her need. This is so nice of you to help out and what a great source and discount!

Hi Sarah,

I've missed you, too!

But it is always nice to see the bottom of the laundry basket. I've been letting chores somewhat slide around here so I can get outdoors as much as possible (walking on the beach and in the woods). We have very short summers and long nasty winters.

Meanwhile, I'm waiting with baited breath for your next interesting, humorous post...when life allows.

Hey Sarah! It's always good to hear from you! :) Now I'm in the process of getting caught up. IT's hard sometimes. hee hee

Sarah said...

Hey :) It's great to know that you're catching up. Thanks for sharing about the books. My husband might not thank you so much ;) Books are a weakness for me.

We've been staying busy with school here and trying to enjoy the last few days of summer weather before fall moves in.

I just weeded out a bunch of books myself, but am always on the lookout for those "keeper" books to have around :O)

Nice to hear things are well. Putting the H-Streets to good use by chance??

Doing well here. I've finally gotten out of that post-fast spiral of choosing less-than-optimal foods. I'm sleeping and feeling good again! Still trying to figure out how to get my family on board a little more and get the right amount of food here at a time without some of it going bad too fast!

Hey Sarah, good to hear from you. I visiting my parents in Florida for a week, then going to South Carolina with them. I am enjoying the much less expensive produce. Tomorrow I will be have a canary melon for the first time; I am so excited.

Sarah, since I couldn't read your blog I went on a 3 day white water rafting trip.

Hey Chris, thanks for the stickiness! Hope that you are doing fabulously!

Danieal, I got drenched way too many times last week to miss the rain, but it was kind of nice to have a bit of cooler weather for a change wasn't it? :-)

Kristi, are you talking about the photo in my post? If so, that is a totally random pic. :D But she is selling some great stuff though! :-)

Vered, I'm glad life is good! :D

Lisa, thanks for sayin' hi! Are you still doing yoga lots? I need to stop by your blog and catch up with you!

Autumn, I hope you were able to find something good. I would have loved to own her entire list!

Raw Bliss, thanks for the kind words, and hopefully my lack of time/laundry skills aren't what is inspiring you too much! Haha! :-)

Oasis, good for you for spending more time outdoors! I've been doing the same thing as well, soaking in the last several weeks of proper summer. Can't believe it's gone by so fast!

Heidi, you blogger you, yeah I bet you understand how it is to get overwhelmed and have to catch up with everything and everybody!

Sarah, just tell your husband that I only give out the best sources and that these books are as necessary to your health as fresh air and sunshine. :D I have wayyyyy too many books.

Rick, I HAVE been putting those H Streets to use!!! I feel more and more confident in my dif strike and have not had much trouble (pain wise) transitioning at all. I'm SO pleased and thankful. I'm even slowly starting to WALK different. What about you?

Michele, I'm glad to hear that you're back on track with feeling good! I, too, have trouble with food sometimes going bad because I never know how much fruit in a given week my fam is actually going to eat.

Fruitloop, oooh sounds like you've been having fun! I've never had a canary melon...enjoy and tell me what it's like!

Martin, I really need to blog less so you can keep having fun! j/k :)

Hi Sarah-

So, I've been reading your blog for some time, I found you on Linda's blog (lindaintheraw) and have enjoyed everything I've read. I told a friend of mine that I was going raw and she told me she had a friend that has been raw for years and is now a fruitarian. Time had passed and she then sent me an e-mail and said here are her blog sites, you should read them. Much to my surprise...IT IS YOU! If you can please e-mail me, I have tried to e-mail you but because I have a work computer at home it is using my work e-mail and I don't want to e-mail you from that. I want to see who else we may both know. Hope all is going well now that you're getting caught up.

wow, just spent,..a LOT of time reading your blog

i love the 811 ideas and i am slowly transitioning...havent pulled off the bandaid yet..

i was wondering if you think thats really bad to do..to follow the diet 80% of the time

and...you mentioned a while back you use natural birth control...i hope thats not too personal to ask! thank you!! and congrats for the amazing blog

Annalise said...

Re: Following the diet 80% of the time. Depends what you eat the 20% Because a high fruit diet in the wrong context is a recipe for Candida!! I do it 80% of the time as long as I am eating 80/10/10 still (so the cooked foods are beans, veggies, whole grains). If I eat oil, avocado, nuts, or too much grain, the fruit triggers candida symptoms. You can control Candida by eating less than 10% dietary fat, and strictly following food combining rules.
